I made reservation couple weeks ago and on my way to the appointment got a phone call saying that my hair stylist is not available for my appointment time and I can either come 3 hours later same day ( because apparently she decided to take another client with highlights and mine was just a cut) or come on Monday.. which is not going to work for me since I work in NE and to drive all the way down the city after work is not fun..I guess some clients are more important than the others..

Went to this salon for the first time for a root touch up and a pedicure service. I asked about pricing and was told it was $10 extra to just blow dry my hair after rinsing out my color. I was fine with that, but at the end they charged me an extra $25 instead of the $10.00 quoted by the owner. Also after the Pedicure I had to go home and had to fix my own nail polish; as it was all over my skin and cuticles (Also half missing on the sides of my toe nails) I sent it a complaint by email over 2 days ago & never received any response back. Also the older Esthetician who did my pedi, bought in another client into the same room before my service was done and was waxing another client eyebrows. Be Careful as she was double dipping into the same wax pot; Very unhygienic! Same your money & time and go else where! I know I won't be back and have done Esthetics for over 12 years...very disappointing!

Had my first cut today and as always, I'm a little nervous trying a new salon. Darlene immediately broke the ice and talk to me about what I wanted and examined my hair and precisely trimmed and styled it to my liking! First time I didn't have to fix my hair after a hair cut! Definitely open to trying colour next time!

Kaeli has been cutting and colouring my hair for about a year now and I wouldn't have anyone but her or Marina as my stylist. I finally have found stylists that listen to my requests and kindly give their expert advice. Prior to coming to La Chic I was very unhappy with my haircut (too many layers) and the condition of my hair.
